Manage all incoming scripts/orders for imaging services provided by referring physicians. Audit each script for content and accuracy using all available resources ensuring proper reimbursement can be achieved. Identify precertification and eligibility requirements. Scan all scripts into ADS patient accounts after auditing for content and accuracy. Keep an organized, easily accessible filing system to house and reference all scripts. Offer high levels of customer service through professional communication and job knowledge. Also schedules appointments, performs data entry and provides support to administrative departments as needed.
High School Diploma. 3 years minimum applicable experience. Medical Terminology, ICD9 & CPT code knowledge preferred. Proficient in Data Entry.
MS Office required. ADS preferred.
