The Front Desk Receptionist will welcome visitors upon arrival at main and outpatient reception areas for Norwalk Hospital assigning visitor badges and supplying informational services such as confirming appointments, room locations and phone numbers.
The incumbent is essential in creating a positive first impression reflective of our mission to know the patient well by demonstrating efficiency and friendliness, as well as, being knowledgeable of hospital policies (e.g. patient confidentiality).
Patient care is “center” taking place 24 hours daily with no boundaries related to time, day, weather or holiday.
Eligibility to explore other internal career opportunities is encouraged after one year of consecutive employment in current role.
