The Speech Therapist for Home Care assesses and evaluates speech, language and/or hearing disorders.  This role determines and makes recommendations to the Physician including appropriate corrective treatment.

 

We are interested in your window of availability and offer scheduling flexibility along with patient-by-patient assignments, for example:  consistently working one day per week, one weekend per month, or alternating weekends.

 

If you are already employed by Western Connecticut Health Network or its subsidiaries/affiliates our policy does not permit internal secondary employment.

 

Job Requirements

Required:

  • Master's Degree.
  • One year of job-related experience.
  • CT State Speech/Language Pathologist License. 
  • American Speech, Language, & Hearing Association (ASHA) Certification.
  • Ability to travel to Patient's home within Fairfield County (Danbury, Bethel, Norwalk, or other areas may be included based on needs)
