Western Connecticut Medical Group has as excellent opportunity for a full-time Hematologist/Oncologist starting in the summer of 2018 at Norwalk Hospital in Norwalk, CT, about one hour outside of New York City. Our long established and busy practice includes five physicians and two Nurse Practitioners. Our office is based in the new state of the art C. Anthony and Jean Whittingham Cancer Center. Our Cancer Center includes subspecialty practices of Breast, Gynecologic, Prostate, and Colorectal Surgery. Additionally, our Center provides Diagnostic Imaging, Cancer Genetics, Radiation Therapy, Cancer Research and Trials as well as Psychological and Social Support Services.
Our employed practice sees a broad spectrum of Hematology/Oncology patients in the office and hospital. The ideal candidate will be board certified/eligible and looking to join a dedicated and collegial team. We offer a highly competitive compensation package, including base salary plus incentives and allowances for CMEs and Dues expenses as well as relocation.
Western Connecticut Health Network includes Norwalk, Danbury, and New Milford Hospitals in addition to our Medical Group, which has over 70 outpatient practice locations. Norwalk Hospital has 366 beds and is also a Level II Trauma Center with approximately 50,000 ED visits per year. As a teaching hospital, we are associated with the Yale University School of Medicine, University of Vermont School of Medicine, and Ross University School of Medicine. Our Medical Group includes 400+ physicians and 140+ advanced practice providers, serving a geographically broad region throughout Western Connecticut and eastern New York.

MD/DO with Fellowship training in Hematology/Oncology.
