To provide radiologic care to patients undergoing invasive procedures to diagnose and/or treat anatomic and physiologic disorders. Provides direct patient care by positioniong patients for procedures,assisting with their care as needed, and transporting patients pre and post procedure. Cross training to scrub and monitor for procedures. Assists in maintanence of equipment and inventory. Participates in performance improvement projects. On call coverage as needed.
Graduate of AMI approved school of Radiologic Technology. Must achieve registration within one year of graduation. Current Connecticut Licensure in Radiologic Technology. Responsible for maintaining CE credits for ARRT and Connecticut License. Experience in special procedures.
BLS required. Experience in cardiac and peripheral angioplasty procedures preferred. EP/pacemaker experience preferred. Scrub and monitor experience preferred.
