Job Summary

Western Connecticut Medical Group is seeking a Staff Physician for their Associated Internists of Fairfield Primary Care office. It is a well-established small practice that plans on expanding in a great family friendly location with good schools near the beach in Fairfield, CT. You will work with 2 other providers.

We have the ability to coordinate primary care and specialty care needs with the advanced diagnostic and treatment services available through our network of over 385 physicians and 3 member hospitals: Danbury Hospital, New Milford Hospital, and Norwalk Hospital.

Job Summary:

Provide medical care to patients in an outpatient setting, assist them to recover from acute illnesses and minimize the effects of chronic illnesses. Teaching opportunities are possible for some roles.

 

Job Requirements

  • MD or DO with CT Controlled Substances and Federal DEA Registration
  • Have successfully completed an Internal Medicine Residency and be Board Certified or Board Eligible.
  • Preferred: Prior experience as a staff physician.
  • Flexible weekday schedules between 8:00 am and 7:00 pm.  Full Time position with a minimum 37.5 hours available for patient contact including one weekend per month. Call responsibilities shared with providers from multiple locations.
